Munich Fabric Start 2026: 30th anniversary

As one of the leading European textile trade fairs, twice a year Munich Fabric Start 2026 presents a qualitative portfolio of international fabrics and accessories manufacturers showcasing their newest developments and innovations in Munich.

From 14 – 16 July, 2026, some 1,100 international suppliers will showcase their new collections as a comprehensive range of textiles, accessories, finishings and sourcing solutions for the Spring.Summer 25 season in Munich.

This wide offer of specialist information and inspiration makes Munich Fabric Start 2026 an international business platform in a unique trade show format which attracts up to 20,000 international visitors to Munich twice a year.

Every season, MUNICH FABRIC START Exhibitions GmbH also organises the Preview Textile Show VIEW Premium Selection as well as the International Denim Trade Show BLUEZONE.

The Munich Fabric Start is an international fabric trade fair that takes place semi-annually in Munich, at the MOC Event Center and the Zenith Hall, timed to coincide with the start of the season. The fair originated from the representative exhibition “Stoff München.” The portfolio covers a broad spectrum from womenswear, menswear, and childrenswear to denim, streetwear, and sportswear. Presently, the fair encompasses eight distinct areas, necessitating the division into two exhibition venues: ‘Collections,’ showcasing fabric collections from basic to haute couture; ‘Additionals,’ featuring accessories and trimmings for the fashion industry; ‘Bluezone,’ focusing on denim, streetwear, and sportswear; ‘Showrooms,’ offering complete packaging solutions; ‘Asia Salon,’ highlighting Asian suppliers; ‘Design Studios,’ demonstrating fashion prints and patterns; ‘Organic Selection,’ emphasizing sustainable fabrics and accessories. This fair serves as a condensed showcase from leading exhibitors around the world, displaying the colors, patterns, prints, materials, and accessories that will be in demand for the upcoming season.

Ranging from ultra-light materials to high-tech coatings and ready-to-wear fabrics and collections, it offers an extensive range of fashionable textiles as well as a comprehensive assortment from suppliers of ribbons, buttons, and labels. The fair is complemented by an extensive program that includes lectures, panel discussions, fashion shows, and presentations.
